Frequently Asked Questions

1. How would you describe your photography style?

I love candid moments and real emotions between the wonderful people I get to photograph. In our session I'll focus on the interactions and try to give you as much space as possible, but of course also guide you if necessary.

Most photos are lightly posed, meaning I'll help get you into place first and then encourage interaction and real expressions while we’re snapping away. Standing in front of the camera is not an everyday occurrence, so I want for you to be as comfortable as possible.

2. what forms of payment do you ACCEPT?

For easy payment of your deposit and package we offer a comfortable online payment option. All major credit and debit cards are accepted. If you prefer, PayPal, Zelle and CashApp are also available.

3. What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

Your appointment is important to me and reserved just for you. I understand that schedules may change, and I kindly ask for at least 72 hours notice for any cancellations or reschedules.

In the event of a cancellation, you will not receive your deposit back. This covers any loss in the form of lost bookings and eventual cost that may have accrued before the actual session.

Cancellations made with less than 72 hours notice will incur a fee equal to the full cost of the scheduled session. Thank you for your understanding and consideration!

4. Do you offer digital files, prints, or albums?

Yes! Your personal gallery that is included with every session comes with your completed digital photos. Also, it has an online store where you can order any prints or albums you may like and they will be delivered to any address of your choice.

There are some select photoshoot packages you can choose that come with certain high quality prints.

5. can i have the unedited photos?

In the pre-editing/proof stage of your package you will view the unedited photos with a watermark so you can select which photos you wish to be retouched. It is during this stage of the process any unedited photographs will be shown.

But, I do not delivery any RAW/unedited photographs to my clients. I only want the best completed work to be shown to my current and future clients.

6. Can I request specific poses or shots?

I encourage each client to feel free to have some ideas about what they want their photoshoot to look like, including poses they will be comfortable in trying. Take time on Pinterest, Instagram etc., for ideas. We can easily discuss your ideas prior to the photoshoot.

7. Can we meet before the session?

Yes! In fact, a consultation via phone or Zoom is required before booking your session. This consultation allows us to get to know each other, discuss your vision, and ensure we’re aligned on every detail to create the best possible experience for you.

It’s also a great opportunity for you to ask any questions and for me to offer professional recommendations to bring your vision to life. This way, by the time your session arrives, you'll feel fully prepared and confident in front of the camera!

8. How long till I receive the final photos?

Your final photos will be received within two weeks. There is a proof stage in this process where you the client will select which pictures will be retouched. My two week timeframe started when the pictures have been selected.

If the edited images are needed sooner than the two week turnaround, there is a rush fee. For a 5 day turnaround it is an additional $100. 3 day, an added $150. Same day is an added $200.
